As a former dancer, this is a pattern close to my heart. I love how easy and quick this FREE Pattern from Moogly works up! I personally still wear these in the summer when it’s too hot to wear my hair down.
Review: This pattern is amazing. All basic stitching and easily modified. I personally don’t have the hook size they recommend, so I use my 3.75 Hook and remove row 7&8 and I think it comes out to the perfect size. You don’t want to make it too big if your target is younger children. Also, I’ve always used the Hair Tie instead of the Ribbon option. I’m sure the ribbon would look great for a performance, but this could always be added later.
