Ear Warmer Headband

I can’t find my source of this Free pattern. I copied it onto a note card years ago. If this is your Pattern or you have the link, please send it to me so I can give credit to the Designer!!  Pattern located at bottom of this post. I’ve added the Free Pattern to my Ravelry shop for now until I can find the Designer.

Review– This is my go-to Ear Warmer Headband Pattern. Adult sizes work up in about a half hour. I like to leave a skein and hook by my bed and make them before I fall asleep at night! It’s a very easy and simple Pattern with many options and variations. The flower pattern is an amazing pattern to keep in your book! I’ve used these flowers with headbands, blankets, coffee sleeves. Its a great, easy to follow pattern that gives 4 size options!

Time to Make: *Varies by Size* Adult- 30 Minutes (Smaller sizes take less time).

Pavement Infinity Scarf

This awesome Free Pattern by Jennifer Dickerson is a great go to for Infinity Scarves! The pattern has beautiful Texture! Everyone loves it!

Review: This pattern is great and easily modified! I’ve used Multiple Yarn Sizes and each and every one looks great!! If you have a Worsted Weight Yarn, just double the strands and it gives this pattern a whole new look! *Note – Pattern calls for 1.5 skeins of Thick and Quick Yarn, I used 2 full skeins and it didn’t make it to the 60inches. Make sure to buy at least 3 Skeins if you want a looser fit.*

Ballet Bun Covers

As a former dancer, this is a pattern close to my heart. I love how easy and quick this FREE Pattern from Moogly works up! I personally still wear these in the summer when it’s too hot to wear my hair down.

Review: This pattern is amazing. All basic stitching and easily modified. I personally don’t have the hook size they recommend, so I use my 3.75 Hook and remove row 7&8 and I think it comes out to the perfect size. You don’t want to make it too big if your target is younger children. Also, I’ve always used the Hair Tie instead of the Ribbon option. I’m sure the ribbon would look great for a performance, but this could always be added later.

Time to Make: Under 30 minutes

Level: Beginner (Chain, Double Crochet)

Premiere/Newborn Hats

When there is so much negativity in the world, sometimes the best way to cope is to focus on helping others. I’ve been tagged in many posts lately about asking for donations for the NICU at local hospitals. I always knew this existed, but it hit me a little  harder this time.  I’m not a doctor, but this is something small I can do to help these sweet little ones.

Review: These tiny little hats are super quick to make! I now have a skein besides my bed to work up a few before I go to sleep at night. Only 9 Rows and simple (DC) stitching. Also, it’s a different feeling then when I make the stylish hats. It’s a nice feeling to have before bed. I think it’s relaxing.

** Make sure to check with your hospital for any guidelines or requirements for donating hats before you start making them**

Time to Make: Less Than 30 Minutes.

Level: Beginner (Chain and Double Crochet)
